The LV VSD Power Module features a complete control board and HMI, uses Pulse Width Modulation technology (sinusoidal modulation), Vector Control, 32-bit RISC microprocessor, and is fitted with a three-phase IGBT power transistor output bridge. Users can put up to five VSDs in parallel, to achieve the desired current and power for their application.
In addition, WEG provides a range of controls and its W22 Premium Efficiency IE3 motors, which enable users to increase energy efficiencies significantly in their process, and reduce their total cost of ownership. The W22 Premium Efficiency IE3 motors gives outstanding performance across the full power range from 0.12 kW to 500kW. The three-phase induction motor meets the requirements of the most demanding marine users, giving reduced energy consumption, increased productivity, extended lifetime and lower maintenance.
